Welcoming 200 New Families This Spring
This spring marked a record season for our settlement services. Over 200 newcomer families connected with CCSCS to begin building their new lives in Canada.
From the moment a family arrives, our settlement counsellors conduct a warm needs assessment, connecting them with housing, English language classes, school registration for children, and employment readiness support.
A holistic approach
We believe settlement is more than paperwork. It is about belonging. That is why every family is paired with a community navigator who walks alongside them for their first year.
